Hi there! My name is Moses, and I am a board‑certified Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC) with many years of experience providing evidence‑based psychiatric care. I specialize in helping individuals who feel stuck at a crossroads due to debilitating anxiety, persistent depression, ADHD‑related inattention, chronic insomnia, bipolar mood instability, trauma‑related symptoms, and other complex mental health concerns. My clinical approach combines skillful medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and a collaborative, patient‑centered style. I work closely with each client to stabilize symptoms, improve daily functioning, and build long‑term emotional resilience. I have a strong focus in comorbid disorders, including accurate assessment, functional strategies, and medication options tailored to each person’s needs.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, you can expect a space grounded in trust, empathy, safety, and non‑judgment. We’ll begin with a brief introduction and a discussion of your goals, concerns, and what brought you to treatment. My priority is to understand you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication support, ADHD‑focused interventions, lifestyle strategies, and therapeutic guidance aimed at improving your emotional and psychological well‑being. My goal is to help you gain clarity, feel supported, and move toward meaningful progress. ***For cash‑paying clients, no prescriptions will be sent unless full payment is confirmed. This process can take up to 2 days. ** I do not complete disability or FMLA paperwork unless the patient has been under my care for at least 6 months, and there is a small fee associated with such a paperwork. Students requesting accommodations would be considered on a case‑by‑case basis; however, no letters of any kind are issued during the first/initial visit.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am open‑minded, recognizing that every individual’s story, background, and needs are unique. Trust, empathy, understanding, and respect are the core principles of my practice, and you can expect these values to guide every interaction with me. I work intentionally to build trust and confidence in my patients, helping them strengthen their own coping skills while addressing their mental and emotional health needs. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, bipolar symptoms, or trauma who are ready for clear, evidence‑based support. Many are high‑functioning on the outside but overwhelmed internally by inattention, mood changes, or persistent worry. They value a provider who is open‑minded, empathetic, and collaborative, and who offers thoughtful medication management and practical strategies tailored to their needs. My ideal clients want a safe, respectful space to understand their symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful progress toward emotional stability and mental well‑being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help my patients deal with unpleasant internal phenomena causing anxiety, depression, or other mental health problems. One key feature of CBT is cognitive restructuring, which is aimed at changing maladaptive thinking patterns that is often associated with negative feelings and emotions. It is a collaborative process where we work together to identify the root cause of the problem, promote behavioral activation, and problem-solve to arrive at appropriate solutions.

Supportive

I use supportive therapy to provide encouragement, support and validation to clients during a difficult time in their lives. The goal is to enable you deal with immediate, pressing needs by talking about identified problems in a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental environment while promoting problem-solving and symptom relief.
