A Trauma Informed Therapist with over 15 years’ experience as a licensed clinician in the State of Florida. After graduating from Nova Southeastern University in Counseling Psychology, Vania has her certification as a Qualified Field Trainer and Supervisor, Compassion Fatigue and Complex Trauma Therapist with training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Self-Compassion, Critical Incident Stress Management CBT and MBCBT. She is a member of the FMHCA, ASGPP, ICISF with experience with first responders and their families, in guidance and school counseling, college and career counseling. She has experience working with adolescents through adulthood in the areas of complex trauma, victim advocacy program at FIU, compassion fatigue, somatic and experiential techniques, using mindfulness, compassion and psychodrama through individual, group and couples therapy to assist clients on their road to self-acceptance and reaching fulfilling lives and relationships.
Clients can expect to be met where they are and connect with the kind of experienced and compassionate support need to embark on a wholehearted journey of healing and restoration. Personal work between sessions is encouraged and supported.
