Hello, and thanks for coming to my bio. I have worked as a professional for 10 years and hold licenses to practice in Georgia and Colorado. I work primarily with adults. I've helped clients with depression, anxiety, depersonalization, grief, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I've also helped them navigate life changes and provided executive and professional coaching. I've also worked with people who have compassion fatigue. I also work with couples struggling with communication, trust, infidelity, and intimacy issues. Everyone should be treated with respect, empathy, and kindness. I will ensure our conversation and treatment plan are right for you. I'm proud of you for having the courage to take the first step to seek therapy. You will have a therapist who truly cares about you and your well-being.
In our first session, there will be introductions and you will be allowed to ask questions. I will gather information as to your family history, treatment goals and the reason you have decided to start therapy.
The techniques I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Narrative therapy. I will tailor therapeutic techniques to meet my client's needs.
My greatest strength is establishing rapport with my clients through understanding and compassion. Therapy will fail if no rapport is established. This is essential to developing trust and allowing the client to be vulnerable. This solution-focused technique allows me to hear the client's experience while empowering them to step away from their difficulties and envision their life if their issues have been solved. We can alter our lives to accommodate changes once we understand what hasn't worked.
