I’m Erin Robertson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Cozy Nest Counseling. I specialize in supporting women and families through the tender and often overwhelming seasons of pregnancy and postpartum, including the profound grief of perinatal loss. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can openly process challenges such as exhaustion, intrusive thoughts, identity shifts, and relationship strain. My approach is both holistic and deeply relational, grounded in clinical expertise and genuine care. Together, we create room for healing, helping you feel seen, supported, and gently empowered as you navigate this chapter of your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a soft place to begin—a space where you can feel welcomed, supported, and at ease. We’ll start by getting to know one another and gently exploring what’s been weighing on your heart. Together, we’ll talk through what you’re hoping for and begin to shape a path forward that feels right for you. There’s no need to have it all figured out—this is a process we’ll move through with care, at your pace, side by side.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my genuine care and curiosity for the people I work with. I strive to understand not only the challenges you’re facing, but the deeper story behind them, creating a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. I’m also committed to being present and responsive, offering steady support so you feel held and not alone in what you’re navigating. My approach is grounded in authenticity and trust. I show up as a real, compassionate human, fostering a safe environment where you can be fully yourself—because that’s where meaningful healing begins. At the core of my work is a deep belief in your resilience. I see my role as walking alongside you, helping you reconnect with your inherent strength and capacity for growth, and supporting that process with care and intention.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My passion lies in supporting new parents through the emotional, psychological, and relational challenges that often accompany the transition to parenthood. I work with mothers, fathers, and families navigating postpartum depression, anxiety, identity shifts, and the overwhelm that can come with caring for a newborn. Many of the clients I work with feel isolated, disconnected from themselves or their partners, or unsure of how to manage the mental and emotional load of parenthood. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they can process these experiences and begin to feel more grounded and understood. In addition to supporting individuals, I also work with couples and families adjusting to the shifting dynamics that come with a new baby—whether it’s their first child or they’re expanding their family. My approach is holistic, taking into account not just individual mental health but also the relational and systemic factors that impact the entire family unit. I specialize in helping clients heal emotionally, strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and create a nurturing foundation for their growing family. My goal is to walk alongside parents during this transformative season with empathy, clarity, and care.
