Hello! As a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed School Counselor, I utilize client-centered, cognitive-behavioral/solution-focused techniques. I focus on assisting clients to identify and build upon strengths, helping clients accomplish mental health, behavioral, wellness, education, and career goals. I have worked with a wide range of people and issues for almost two decades. I have worked with families, executives, teens, military personnel, and at-risk youth. I specialize in helping people with issues with anxiety, anger management, depression, behavioral issues with youth, and life transition in work or relationships are also some of my strengths. I look forward to potentially helping meet your mental health, behavioral, relationship, interpersonal, or career goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I would like to get to know who you are and answer any questions about my approach, experience, etc. Once we are comfortable with a good therapeutic fit, we can talk about the frequency of sessions and what's needed regarding your treatment plan. We then set up your next session as we will do every time we meet.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach is interactive and warm, but also direct. I love to help clients reach their academic, career, mental health, and/or relationship goals while maintaining balance. I am also a Veteran, and familiar with the military lifestyle and the unique challenges military families face. I look forward to speaking with you soon!
