Hi there, I'm Lory. Are you struggling in your relationships and looking for a safe space to heal and grow? I help and empower individuals to overcome the difficulties in their relationships while building a better relationship with themselves. Together, we can identify what's working and what needs improvement. I know it can be difficult to decide to start therapy, but you're making the right choice by seeking help. For couples and family therapy, I only accept private pay at $180 per session.  I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in counseling children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with diverse backgrounds who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. My personal life experience makes me empathetic to others who are suffering from mental health issues, and I love the opportunity to help people heal. My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe and comfortable environment where we can explore your challenges, learn different ways to manage and cope with those challenges, develop realistic goals, and determine your strengths and assets as you move toward your aspirations. You deserve to live a mentally healthier lifestyle.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I believe that each person is an expert in their own story. For that reason, I tailor my treatment practices to the needs of my clients by using evidence-based approaches. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy guide my style of connecting with my clients. We will work together to assess and address your emotional and mental health needs as your journey unfolds.

My greatest strength as a therapist is the ability to connect with my clients on a personal level. I am a great listener, empathetic, and patient, and my non-judgmental approach allows my clients to feel comfortable opening up to me.
