New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Life Coach and Author who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and balance. I specialize in working with high-functioning women who often carry multiple roles and responsibilities, yet feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected behind the scenes. My work is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I take a collaborative approach, helping clients explore patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical strategies that support real, lasting change. I am known for being both compassionate and direct, offering support while also gently challenging clients to grow, set healthier boundaries, and show up more fully in their lives. My goal is to help each client reconnect with themselves, build confidence, and create a life that feels aligned, balanced, and sustainable
During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, your concerns, your goals, and what’s bringing you to therapy at this time. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, current challenges, and any patterns you’ve noticed in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you hope to gain from therapy, and determine if we are a good fit. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard, supported, and respected from the very beginning. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and discuss a plan for moving forward in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with your needs.
My greatest strengths as a therapist lie in my ability to create a safe, supportive environment while also offering clear, direct guidance that encourages meaningful growth and accountability. What stands out about my approach is my ability to balance compassion with practical, results-oriented work. I am skilled at identifying patterns across thoughts, emotions, and relationships, allowing me to move beyond surface-level concerns and address underlying issues. I take a holistic, systems-oriented approach, helping clients understand how different areas of their lives are connected while equipping them with tools they can apply in their daily lives. Clients often experience increased self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, stronger boundaries, and a greater sense of clarity and confidence as a result of our work together. My work as a therapist is grounded in both clinical expertise and a deep, personal understanding of what it means to carry life in different ways. I support individuals who may appear strong and high-functioning on the outside, as well as those who feel overwhelmed, vulnerable, or emotionally depleted. Whether you are used to holding everything together for others or feel like you’re struggling just to get through the day, I offer a space where you can show up fully without pressure or judgment. I work with clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, boundary challenges, and the impact of trauma. Some of my clients come in feeling disconnected, broken in spirit, or unsure of where to begin. Others are seeking relief from the constant pressure of maintaining strength while feeling overwhelmed internally. Wherever you find yourself, my goal is to meet you there with compassion, steadiness, and intention. What sets my approach apart is my ability to balance warmth with honest, grounded guidance. I help clients gently process their experiences while also supporting them in rebuilding, strengthening emotional regulation, developing healthier boundaries, and reconnecting with a sense of self that feels more stable, confident, and whole. Together, we move at a pace that feels safe, while still working toward meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in working with, but not limited to, high-functioning women who appear to have it all together but feel overwhelmed behind the scenes. Many of my clients are professionals, caregivers, or leaders who are used to being “the strong one” for others, yet struggle with anxiety, stress, boundary-setting, and maintaining balance in their own lives. We asses where they are currently then proceed from there.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a structured, practical approach to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns while building healthier behaviors. My work focuses on connecting thoughts, emotions, and actions to improve overall functioning in daily life. I incorporate evidence-based techniques such as cognitive restructuring, emotional regulation, and behavioral activation, while also integrating elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support acceptance of what cannot be controlled. Clients can expect a collaborative, goal-oriented process that emphasizes real-life application, skill-building, and long-term emotional resilience.
Motivational Interviewing
I utilize Motivational Interviewing as a collaborative, client-centered approach to help individuals explore ambivalence and strengthen their internal motivation for change. I support clients in identifying their values, clarifying goals, and resolving barriers that may be preventing progress. Through open-ended questioning, reflective listening, and affirmations, I create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to make meaningful decisions aligned with their personal growth. This approach is especially effective for clients navigating life transitions, behavior change, and increasing readiness for action.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice from a Trauma-Informed Care perspective, ensuring that all services are grounded in safety, trust, and respect for each client’s lived experience. I recognize the impact trauma can have on emotional, behavioral, and relational functioning and work to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment that avoids re-traumatization. My approach emphasizes empowerment, collaboration, and choice, while helping clients build coping skills, increase emotional regulation, and restore a sense of control. This framework is integrated across all aspects of care to support healing, resilience, and long-term stability.
Eclectic
I utilize an eclectic therapeutic approach, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Trauma-Informed Care to meet the unique needs of each client. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor interventions based on individual goals, experiences, and readiness for change. This flexible approach allows me to address a wide range of concerns, support emotional regulation, and promote meaningful, sustainable growth. Clients can expect a personalized, collaborative process that adapts as they progress in their therapeutic journey.
