My approach to therapy is culturally sensitive, client-focused, and solution-based. The framework I use is CBT and SMART goals. I am also clear and transparent with my clients. The first session will be a true listening session to understand your concerns and develop a treatment that works for you. You will feel respected/understood through my client-focused approach to addressing your concerns.
I am a great listener, empathic, and an excellent problem-solver. Your sessions with me are to help you get the most assistance you need on this new journey. My sessions provide a psychologically safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. During my sessions, I also maintain a clear, transparent communication style in our interactions.
My greatest strength is that I am a relational person who easily understands my clients' journeys and can efficiently help them reach their goals.
With 20 years of experience, I work with college students and people across the lifespan through evidence-based CBT and SMART Goals. I specialize in coping strategies for chronic illnesses, problems at work, home, or relationships, stress management, anxiety, and depression.
