In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about current concerns, background history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. This helps us begin to identify goals and determine the best approach for your needs. We will also discuss how therapy works, answer any questions you may have, and start building a comfortable, collaborative space where you feel safe and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is building a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and not judged. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Focused CBT to help clients develop practical tools for managing emotions, coping with stress, and navigating life challenges. I work well with children, teens, and young adults, and I focus on meeting each client where they are while helping them build confidence, insight, and healthier coping strategies over time.

I am best positioned to serve children, adolescents, and young adults ages 0–25 who are navigating emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, ADHD-related concerns, and difficulty managing stress or relationships. I also support young people who may feel overwhelmed by life transitions, school pressures, family conflict, or identity development. My goal is to provide a structured, supportive space where clients can build coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and develop healthier patterns that support long-term growth and stability.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we explore patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or feeling stuck. I work collaboratively with clients to build practical coping skills, improve self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to make meaningful changes and build confidence in their ability to navigate difficult emotions and situations.

Trauma-Focused CBT

use Trauma-Focused CBT to support clients who are healing from painful or overwhelming experiences. Together, we explore how trauma may be impacting emotions, thoughts, relationships, and daily functioning while building tools to manage anxiety, emotional distress, and negative self-beliefs. I strive to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where clients can process experiences at their own pace, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healing, safety, and emotional balance.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help clients better understand and manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and build healthier coping skills. Together, we focus on practical tools for staying grounded during stressful moments, navigating difficult feelings, and communicating more effectively with others. I provide a supportive space where clients can learn skills to feel more in control, more balanced, and more confident in handling life’s challenges.
