I am a mindful, validating, and compassionate therapist who takes pride in providing dedicated, time-oriented, and consistent care. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I deeply value each client’s unique perspective, culture, and personal values, and I integrate this understanding into my work to ensure therapy is both meaningful and relevant. My approach emphasizes reliability, empathy, and collaboration, helping clients feel safe as they navigate their experiences and work toward personal growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In an initial therapy session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where the focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, and goals for treatment, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. You may discuss important areas of your life such as work, relationships, and emotional well-being. There will also be conversations related to my approach, confidentiality, and answer any questions you have about the process. This first session is less about solving everything right away and more about building comfort, trust, and a clear direction for your work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, I have extensive experience working with clients navigating trauma, emotional processing, anxiety, and depression. I support individuals in understanding and working through difficult emotions, helping them build healthy coping strategies and develop greater self-awareness. In addition to therapeutic work, I provide case management support by connecting clients with appropriate resources and coordinating care when needed. My approach is compassionate, structured, and collaborative, allowing clients to feel supported as they work toward healing, stability, and overall well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am a dedicated professional who works best with young individuals navigating life transitions in areas such as work, home, and personal identity. I provide a supportive and empathetic space for clients experiencing depression, anxiety, unresolved emotions, grief and loss, and trauma. My approach focuses on helping clients better understand their thoughts and feelings, build healthy coping strategies, and develop resilience as they move through challenging periods of change. I am committed to empowering clients to gain clarity, strengthen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting growth in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize this form of therapy to help make the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It helps individuals identify and challenge negative or unhelpful thinking patterns and replace them with more realistic and positive ones.

Narrative

I use the Narrative approach to help people understand their lives through the stories they tell about their experiences. Focusing on separating the person from their problems, encouraging clients to see it as challenges they face rather than something that defines them. Through providing a supportive presence, clients explore and reshape these personal narratives, highlighting their strengths, values, and abilities.

Humanistic

The approach I take with Humanistic therapy is to increase self-awareness, and help client's reach their full potential. In practice, focusing on the present, to encourage clients to explore their current thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Through open conversation and reflection, clients develop greater self-awareness and learn to accept themselves more fully.
