New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) that is passionate about helping people navigate life challenges with compassion and practical tools for growth. I integrate various treatment methods to support clients in understanding their thoughts, managing emotions, and building resilience. My approach is both clinical and compassionate; focused on creating a safe, supportive space where people can heal, grow, and thrive.
The first session is all about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your history, concerns, and goals so we can collaboratively create your treatment plan.
My strengths are creating a safe and welcoming space, having strong collaboration skills, compassion, and being culturally sensitive.
My ideal client is someone who is motivated to make positive changes in their life, even if they’re unsure about where to begin. Someone who may be struggling with stress, anxiety, overthinking, relationship challenges, or negative thinking patterns that is open to exploring new tools to better understand themselves and develop healthier coping strategies. I often work with women and people of color who are ready to invest in themselves and take steps toward healing, self-awareness, and a more balanced life.
CBT is one if the main treatment methods I use through my training and independent work over the years. I have found it to be one of the most effective and practical form of treatment for my clients to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I have utilized mindfulness in my practice for several years as a way to help clients manage stress, anxiety, and feelings of being overwhelmed.
