In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another. I’ll ask about your background and what brought you to seek treatment. Then, we’ll discuss a potential diagnosis and if we’re a good professional fit. If we are, we’ll have an action plan by the end of the session.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I utilize evidence-based approaches to deliver patient-centred and trauma-informed types of care, which are tailored to suit the patient’s needs, goals, and vision. My personal and educational backgrounds have helped me to acquire excellent intercultural communication skills, having practiced nursing across different continents and multiple cultures I understand that seeking help for mental health can be daunting, which is why I emphasize empathy, respect, and confidentiality in every interaction. My client-centred approach ensures that individuals feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment plans. I am committed to fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable sharing their experiences and receiving the support they deserve.

My greatest strength with patients is in finding the words unspoken. If you struggle to find the clearest way to speak about your symptoms or presenting concerns, I’ll ask the right questions for you to feel understood.
