Hello! I am a licensed therapist (LMHC in Indiana, LCPC in Illinois, and LPC in Michigan). I received my master's in Counseling Psychology from North Park University in Chicago and have been practicing for 8 years. I help adults that are struggling with anxiety, have a history of trauma, or are experiencing perinatal mental health symptoms, to create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having been a therapist for the last 8 years, I am well versed in navigating complexity with compassion. I am also am both professionally and personally passionate about cultural attunement, trauma-informed care, and perinatal mental health. And ultimately, I am very dedicated to providing a grounding presence through the therapeutic relationship.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with clients working through trauma and anxiety related to their experience as new parents or cultural background. My clients want to explore the roots of their struggles and work towards healing, growth, and greater self-compassion. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are seeking clarity.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I was trained in EMDR at EMDR Consultants, LLC. I use EMDR to help clients overcome symptoms related to trauma.

Trauma Informed Care

I have completed a couple of trainings related to trauma-informed care. This treatment modality serves as my most frequently used lens.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Racial and cultural identities play a strong role in who we are and how we view our life. Both also play an important part in our earlier experiences and the societal norms around us. This treatment method is informed by my personal experience.
