Jack Hazan uses evidence-based interventions to work collaboratively with you to resolve your concerns. He has studied various approaches and techniques proven to bring forth effective results, including internal family systems, CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy. My style of therapy is more direct and solution-focused than ordinary and outdated talk therapy; I take an active role during our sessions while utilizing more modern and progressive therapeutic techniques proven to bring forth effective results. Some of the modalities I use include sex addiction therapy, internal family systems, LGBTQ+-focused modalities, CBT, DBT, sex therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
I will work with you to ensure you are getting the most out of your therapy sessions. My therapy approach offers the safe space needed to work through the many challenges you face in life. Together, we will focus on integrating the various dimensions of your personal identity and bringing forth insight to help you lead a more authentic and fulfilled life.
As an anxiety therapist and certified sex addiction therapist, my primary focus is working with those who struggle with anxiety, relationships, intimacy, and avoidant behaviors and issues related to adult or childhood trauma, codependency, attachment disorders, addiction, sex and porn addiction, and isolation. Using a trauma-based model, I am able to help you work through the difficulties around feeling a sense of fulfillment within yourself and/or relationships. I also work with those who struggle with ADHD and have trouble staying focused, an inability to complete tasks, or impulsive behaviors. Together, we create a plan with personalized coping skills and tools to lead you toward deeper, more meaningful connections with others and yourself.
