I bring with me a unique set of work experiences that have fostered my passion for helping those that suffer from mental health disorders. My own personal experiences and past employment endeavors have given me empathy to help patients with mental health disorders. As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, it is my goal to advocate for patients who struggle to be heard or respected, and to manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, and attention to holistic care. I will do all I can to assist individuals and their families in recognizing, without stigma, the value of psychiatric assistance.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am able to treat mental health issues across all ages. I have worked in various healthcare settings with many different types of patients: out-patient settings, in-patient treatment, acute psychiatric settings, substance abuse patients, and developmentally disabled patients. Every experience that put me on this path has shaped my passion and dedication to psychiatric nursing. I’ve seen people unfairly neglected by professionals with the power and knowledge to help them, which has made me determined to make a difference in their lives as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize a variety of techniques to assess, diagnose, and treat my patients based on their reported symptoms and treatment goals.

I am experienced in both mental health and substance abuse disorders. I have worked with patients at all levels including acute inpatient, outpatient, residential, detox, and corrections. I am well versed in treating patients with all ages who suffer from depression, PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, opiate use, alcohol use, personality disorders, ADHD

I am happy to see patients of all ages. I am comfortable seeing patients suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, PTSD, substance abuse.
