Hi, I'm Janelle. I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) experienced in working with transgender youth and survivors of human trafficking. I am passionate about helping youth and adults discover a life worth living. In 2013 started my journey into mental health as a direct care staff working with teens with impulsivity, trauma, aggression, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal/homicidal ideation, depression and anxiety. Currently, I work with incarcerated individuals. In 2016, I graduated from University of Central Florida with a Master of Social Work. In 2018, I became an LCSW in Florida, then became an LCSW in California in 2021. Now, for the most important part of this: I am vegan, plant mom (when I don't kill them accidentally...), lover of tattoos, horror and tarot, proud member of the Queer Community and mom to two of the sweetest little 4 legged babes. And yes, my dogs may make an appearance during session to check in on you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll discuss what your expectations of therapy are and whether or not I am good fit for that.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strength is I am dedicated in helping you in whatever way I can while also holding you accountable.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with anyone who wants to see change or needs a safe place to talk it out. I am sex positive, BDSM/kink affirming therapist.
