I am dedicated to helping women, teen girls, and children build self-worth, motivation, self-confidence, and a healthy body image. I also focus on guiding people through stressful life transitions, grief, career discernment, academic/work pressures, cultural assimilation, and living with developmental/intellectual disabilities and/or chronic physical conditions. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Painful life experiences can disrupt holistic health. I am here to support my clients in discovering inner resources and coping techniques that meet the needs of the whole person. I am committed to providing a therapy experience where each client can feel a sense of relief, safety, and courage to fulfill their life goals and dreams. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion to create an open, supportive therapeutic space so clients feel comfortable sharing thoughts and feelings. My treatment approach is integrative, as I utilize a variety of methods tailored to comprehensively meet each person's specific needs. My goal as a therapist is to help people connect with peace and hope amidst their life struggles as well as grow in self-empowerment and resiliency.

My treatment approach is integrative, as I utilize a variety of methods tailored to tend to the unique needs of each individual I work with. I am experienced in the following types of therapy: Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion-focused, Relational, Strengths-based, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Humanistic, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic, Trauma-informed, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, Culturally Sensitive, Faith-based Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy. If you wish to explore the Creative Arts Therapy avenue, we can integrate art/music/movement materials into sessions. Art modalities can aid in self-awareness, healthy self-expression, as well as promote deep relaxation, mood elevation, and visualization of inner strengths and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths are providing therapy rooted in compassion, respect, and creativity. My goal as a therapist is to partner with my clients to create a treatment plan that comprehensively addresses their concerns and needs, including emotional, mental, relational, spiritual, and physiological health. Although I am well versed in a range of emotional/mental health challenges, I have a special passion for young women, teens, and girls seeking to build self-esteem, self-confidence, motivation, and a positive body-image I also am focused on guiding people through career difficulties and discernment of their life purpose, coping with life transitions, and supporting people that are grieving the loss of a loved one. I also greatly enjoy working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. I offer a variety of traditional talk therapy approaches as well as innovative, creative remedies which are arts-based.

Female girls/teens and young adult women seeking to build self-esteem, people experiencing career difficulties, discerning their vocation/life purpose, those with intellectual /developmental disabilities, Aspergers, as well as people who wish to explore/connect with their Christian faith within counseling.
