I believe in providing personalized services to my patients who are struggling with life stressors and are in need of some support to become the best versions of themselves.
First session
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, discussed your your needs for counseling, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Strengths
With 18 years of experience, I have worked with clients from various cultures and backgrounds. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have learned that it is important meet my clients where they at and to personalized each client's treatment due to their personal needs. I love to challenge my clients and see them grow.
Ideal clients
I love working with young professionals who are in the first few years of their careers, women who are dealing with self esteem issues, parenting issues and general women issues. I also love working with couples who are open to learning healthier ways to communicate and manage the challenges of their relationships. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious and need some support in processing and identify some coping skills.
Treatment methods
Christian Counseling
As a Christian myself , I understand the importance of leaning on faith when struggling with life challenges. I provide Christian counseling per client's requests and that looks differently for each client. I am all about meeting my clients where they at, Christian counseling is base completely on your level of comfortability, it can consist of bible verses, biblical discussions or simple general conversation that is not as spiritual.
Couples Counseling
I truly enjoy working with couples, I have been working with couples for over 5 years. I believe that couple who are willing to work on improving their relationship can learn a lot in counseling. I teach couples healthier ways to communicate with each other, identify the challenges in their relationship and discuss various coping strategies to manage their issues.
