Hi, I’m Sheila Harris-Fitzpatrick. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC), National Certified Distance Counselor (DCC) and Bereavement Professional, trained as a Grief Recovery Specialist at the Grief Recovery Institute in California. I have a Master’s degree from National-Louis University in Psychology and Community Counseling and have a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling from the Colorado Theological Seminary. I am a relationship expert with a focus on communication, boundaries, and conflict resolution in improving relationship interactions. My first question is, how authentic are you willing to be in your relationships? I’ve counseled marriage couples, couples before marriage, families dealing with death, and individuals with anger management issues. I have experience with adults and children dealing with mental health disorders, substance abuse, parenting issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with introductions and we will talk through the struggles and challenging issues you are facing. This will help us create a plan of action to work through in the following sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My passion is working with adults and families relating to grief and other life transitions; which include, employment exit strategies, career decisions while identifying gifts and talents, finding your life calling and coaching through life-altering events. There is hope so contact me and let me help you move beyond what you are currently experiencing and help you find an awesome new normal for your life.
