In my practice, I use a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to help you manage these daily stressors. You will learn realistic coping skills to then conquer that feeling of being stuck. In addition, I am a certified yoga instructor and I emphasize the importance of the mind/body connection. Helping you ease your anxiety to live life with minimal stress is my passion. I will guide you through coping skills, solutions to problems, mindfulness techniques, and realistic ways to feel better now. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will review your primary concerns. We will also review your history, including personal, medical, and mental health history. We'll discuss family and friend dynamics. Then, we will start to set realistic goals to help you feel better as soon as possible.

I am here to help you understand that you are not alone. I provide lots of validation and am very realistic with my treatment approach. I provide a safe space that is free of judgment. I believe everyone deserves a time and place where they can process their feelings without feeling judged.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Through DBT, I help you identify how to balance two opposite things (feelings, observations, perspectives, etc) at the same time to minimize distress. I also utilize mindfulness and distress tolerance skills.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through CBT, I help you identify realistic goals to attain and the practical steps to take towards those goals.
