I'm glad you're here. I'm Kaylee Juarez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to providing 9+ years of therapy. I'm dedicated to providing a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. My practice centers on helping individuals navigate life's most difficult moments: whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, a major life transition like divorce or job loss, relationship struggles, or a loss of connection with your sense of self. I'm here to walk alongside you as you work toward clarity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of who you are.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you'd like to work on, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. I'll ask about your background and life experiences to help me understand you in a deeper way. If this all sounds a bit daunting, this is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, there's no pressure to have it all figured out. My goals is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to begin your journey toward healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are, no judgment or pressure. My approach is trauma-informed and person-centered, blending evidence-based methods like psychodynamic therapy, CBT, Gestalt, and motivational interviewing to meet your unique needs. I believe healing happens when you feel truly seen and I'm here to help you reconnect with your confidence, process what's holding you back, and re-discover your authentic self. I also know what it's like to face life's hardest moments, and I bring that lived experience into the room with deep empathy and respect. Together, we'll create a flexible path forward that aligns with your goals, even as they grow and change along the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I provide a supportive, compassionate space for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, traumatic experiences, or a loss of self. My approach is warm and grounded in empathy with a focus on helping you reconnect with your confidence and authentic self. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, and I'm here to walk that path with you.

My treatment methods

Interpersonal

I integrate principles of Interpersonal Therapy to help clients better understand the link between their emotional health and relationships. Together, we address areas like unresolved grief, role changes in family/relationship dynamics, or conflicts to support meaningful change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support clients in recognizing and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns. This approach helps foster healthier behaviors and more balanced ways of thinking, especially when coping with anxiety, depression, or self-doubt.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative approach I use to help uncover and strengthen motivation for change. Rather than telling you what to do, I'll provide support in finding your own direction and building confidence in the choices that feel right to you, whether you are contemplating a change in your life that is significant or a small change that you need support with.

Attachment-based

Using an attachment-based lens, I help clients explore how early caregiving relationships may impact present-day emotions and relationships. This approach can be especially helpful in developing self-awareness, building secure connections, and fostering emotional resilience.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use Cognitive Processing Therapy to help clients work through the impact of a traumatic experience by identifying and challenging unhelpful beliefs that may keep them stuck. We explore how the trauma has affected the way you see yourself, others, and the world around you. We then begin to gently shift those patterns to support healing. We work to reduce feelings of shame, guilt or fear by developing more balanced and compassionate ways of thinking.
