In addition to being a Licensed Married and Family Therapist I have a wide variety of training, certifications, degrees, and experiences which help me to understand you and your issues as a whole and from different viewpoints. I have an MA in Psychology, a Doctorate in Naturopathy, various certifications in, meditation, hypnotherapy, wellness, and fitness as well as a good knowledge of sexuality and sex practices.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is a get to know you session. We will talk about what had made you decide to seek therapy and see where that leads us. It may lead to current or past situations or it may lead to inner feelings or conflicts. We talk about what type of therapy you like it might like, such as if you would like to use meditation tools or hypnotherapy or if you prefer to stick to traditional talk therapy. We would explore if you are open to reading books or doing homework assignments. Together we form A plan of what your individual or couples session will look like.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to combine many different aspects of issues together to hot problems from different angles. I’ve also developed a therapeutic intuition that guides me in a way that makes what we do feel like it flows naturally. Others find my greatest strength to be my ability to keep the client focused on moving forward and on moving towards a state of healing and towards higher functioning.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve clients who are ready to move on from their traumas or negative behaviors and are struggling in figuring out how. I also work well with clients who are struggling with being between two stages of life or having to make tough choices. I have great success with clients who are tired of negative patterns in relationships and our ready to look towards themselves for the change they want to see, but need guidance and what to look at. I am only looking for individual clients at this time. I am not working with couples

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

With a Doctorate in Naturopathy and having spent 5 years teaching meditation, I bring to therapy knowledge of the body's ability to heal itself, even pertaining to mental health. I enjoy working with clients who are interested in learning to release trauma and to learn from their emotions.
