Therapy has changed, and thankfully so. The old idea of spilling your heart out to someone who feels distant, judgmental, or out of touch does not work anymore. So let’s not do that.
I’m Jessica Milgrome, a licensed mental health clinician with 15 years of experience, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a National Certified Counselor. I work with women navigating anxiety, overthinking, emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, burnout, and major life transitions.
My approach is modern, direct, and judgment-free. Therapy with me is a real conversation. No awkward silence. No walking on eggshells. No wondering if you said the wrong thing. We talk openly, focus on what actually helps, and skip techniques that do not fit your real life.
Sessions can be video or phone. If video feels too intense some days, that is okay. Therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human.
To share a bit about myself, I’m a big fan of stand-up comedy because laughing really is life. I look forward to Mondays for Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlists and live by the mantra, “When words fail, let the music speak.” I also share my life with six dogs.
I’m here to help you organize your thoughts, build confidence, set boundaries you can keep, and move forward feeling clearer and more grounded.

Sometimes it feels like the actual apocalypse is just around the corner. We are bombarded with terrible headline after terrible headline. Inflation is making it harder to pay the bills, let alone have fun, or reach our dreams. With so much going on in the world, it’s no wonder that there are greater rates of anxiety and depression! In the midst of it all, you might be trying to figure out who you are, what you want from life, how to have that honest conversation with your friend, setting boundaries with a parent, whether to switch jobs, learning to be more comfortable in your skin, etc. It’s a lot to manage. I can help.
I am a licensed psychologist and consider myself a generalist with a wide variety of clinical interests including issues related to family of origin, self esteem, identity development, issues related to oppression and marginalized identities, depression, anxiety, stress, and interpersonal relationships.
Welcome! I'm Sarah! Your story matters. You have value. I don't want you to walk through this pain alone.
I work with females who want to work on anxiety, people-pleasing, insecure attachment, emotional regulation, perfectionism, communication, setting boundaries, grief, comparison, self-compassion, shame, building confidence, divorce, health struggles, relational concerns, navigating breakups, practicing self-care, and building a healthy relationship with yourself and others. In the first few minutes of each session, I teach a tool. These tools have been extremely helpful for me and my clients, so I am passionate to share them and find my clients make more progress! Then I check in with you on what you would like to process for that day. After you share, I focus on processing your feelings and the situation as well as sharing my perspectives and tools. I try to create a space where clients can be open without feeling judged or pressured. Therapy with me is conversational, supportive, and focused on helping you better understand yourself and move forward in a way that feels realistic.
My work with clients is integrative, collaborative, and eclectic. I tailor strategies, tools, and skills to each individual's strengths, while also identifying areas that may benefit from support. I follow a client-centered philosophy, respecting you as the expert of your own life—while recognizing that even experts need help at times.
My clinical education, skills, and experiences are further enhanced by my education and experience in learning systems and brain dominance - basically how people learn. This is an important part of a successful therapeutic relationship and finding the right approach for my clients.
Do you ever get caught off guard by a feeling that seems to come out of the blue? In some cases, you can "power through it" and not let it impact you too much, but other times it seems to get the best of you. Perhaps a little voice shows up and says "You shouldn't be feeling that way" or some version of "toughen up". While these ideas seem good in theory, they just don't take into account these feelings that are present.
I help adults navigate the complexities of trauma, anxiety, addiction, and relationships through a compassionate, judgment-free approach. Using an eclectic, CBT-based framework, I support clients—especially creatives—on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. My own experiences with family trauma shape my understanding, allowing me to provide empathetic and personalized care.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work with over 40 years of clinical experience in healthcare and provided clinical interventions targeted with patients who are interested in a journey of personal growth through therapeutic interventions to assist with healing and good mental health. I have been practicing Social Work/Counseling for 34 years. I am very passionate about what I do, and enjoy seeing clients set goals and take active steps to achieving those goals. I love getting to know my clients, and forming a safe place for them to explore ways they want to overcome barriers to growth and change. It is truly a privilege to meet in the therapeutic space and witness the growth that human beings can make when they are met where they are at and given the unconditional positive regard they deserve.

Greetings,
It has always been my desire to serve and bring out the best in people. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, my commitment to this work is both personal and professional. Growing up with two parents who struggled with addiction, I experienced anxiety and depression at an early age and made a conscious choice not to become a product of my environment. Instead, I chose a different path , one rooted in healing, understanding and helping others find their way through difficult chapters of their own lives.
My lifelong interest in human behavior and emotional functioning led me into this field, where I strive to help clients gain clarity, develop meaningful coping skills, and move toward their desired goals. I work best with individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves and actively participate in their healing process. You’ve already taken a courageous first step by reaching out; now let’s explore whether we are a good fit, as it would be an honor to collaborate with you.
I value transparency, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic connection. You are the expert in your lived experience; my role is to support, guide, and walk alongside you as you move toward growth, balance, and emotional well-being.
Hi I am an LCPC, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have been working with clients for almost 7 years. In a nutshell I help clients to better understand themselves, their histories, and why they do what they do. I help people figure out what they want, and find more effective ways to get what they deserve out of life particularly in the areas of relationship.
I am open about my legal blindness. I am an adaptable and direct clinician who is passionate about collaboratively assisting teens, adults, and families to achieve their unique goals in a healthy manner. I combine counseling techniques with practical, problem solving approaches to strengthen behavioral, emotional, and mind-body functioning to manage stress and empower clients. I highly value a client-centered approach to therapy and behavioral therapies to meet clients where they are and with acceptance.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, or challenges with managing emotions. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make lasting change. Because I believe healing begins with a strong foundation, I focus on building a genuine, supportive relationship with every client.
My style is eclectic, and I strive to individualize treatment for each client. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
Together, we will explore your strengths, work through challenges, and create space for growth and new beginnings. If you’re ready for a fresh start, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.

Life can be complicated, let's sort through it together!
Hi! I'm Emily, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with clients in both Illinois and Ohio. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of judgment. In our work together, we'll celebrate your successes just as much as we'll work through your struggles, and I'll help you challenge unhelpful thought patterns while honoring the experiences that brought you here. We might even share a laugh along the way!
My background is in medical and oncology based social work. In my work, I support children, adolescents, young adults, and families as they navigate serious illness, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and strive to create a space where clients of ALL identities feel respected, welcomed, and supported. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work, with a concentration in Mental Health, from Loyola University Chicago.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community mental health centers, private practice, and nonprofit organizations. My personal and family history also affords me valuable lived experiences that inform my approach with clients and advances my ability to extend empathy to my clients. This diverse experience has allowed me to work with people from many different walks of life, each with their own unique challenges, hopes, and dreams.
Hello Potential Client! Welcome to my Practice. My name is Amanda Strobel and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC). I have had an opportunity to practice behavioral health therapy in many settings over the last 25+ years. My overall goal is to support my clients through their therapeutic journey including supporting them through life transitions, stressful or overwhelming situations, grief or loss issues or executive counseling for career advancement. You will find that I have worked in a variety of therapy settings including: private practice both in person and virtual, inpatient/outpatient, corporate settings, residential, therapeutic day schools, mentally ill substance abuse and oncology wellness centers. In those setting I provided therapy on a variety of mental health issues. I spent the first 15 years of my career working with children, adolescents and young adults working through: physical/sexual and neglect issues, anxiety/panic/OCD, depression, bi-polar disorder, suicidal ideation and actions, family conflicts, boundary setting and substance abuse issues. I have also worked with the overall family unit to address family conflict, parenting issues and relationship building. In more recent years my focus has been on grief/loss issues, coping skills, self care, executive consulting and counseling, life transitional issues and working through major life changes and choices. Hello, and welcome! My name is Megan Allegretti, and I am so proud of you for considering the incredibly difficult step of seeking mental health therapy. In an effort to make this process feel less intimidating, here are some things about me, to see if my approach is a solid fit for you.
My approach works with the intention to aid in healing from the distress in your mental and emotional world. Often we create various behavioral patterns in life, that worked at some point, but now you notice them becoming maladaptive. We will look at becoming more internally aware of systems that are not cutting it anymore for you, why those patterns evolved in the first place. With this understanding it can aid in identifying the function of behaviors, and better aid with implementing new skills in its place.
My goal for treatment is to come with you along your journey, so you will not have to feel alone. I will also provide skills, education, processing, and perspectives you might not be able to see from your angle.
If this feels like a good fit for you, please reach out to set up an intake together.
I greet every client with the belief that we are born into this world with the capacity for living unique and healthy lives. I believe that it is the stressors of challenging individual experiences, pain and illnesses, trauma, and attachment injuries that move us off our centers and cause symptoms of depression, anxiety, and dysfunctional defensive behaviors.
My goal is to create a setting where my client feels safe and supported, and therefore able to re-examine the patterns that form our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, as a collaboration, we can take the fascinating journey and reach for full potential, coherence, and health
I aim to meet every client where they are at, regardless of their circumstances. I work with people who struggle with substance use, depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, or any other topics that may be presenting issues in their life. My approach is to help you understand and identify what things may be causing you difficulties in your life, while simultaneously eliciting the motivation that already lies within you to make the necessary changes in your life.
I have experience working in grief & loss counseling, and as a CADC, my primary area of expertise is in the field of substance use. I work with people who struggle with substance use from a harm reduction framework, and I believe that it is my job to help clients achieve whatever goals they have for themselves, whether that be total abstinence, moderation, or deciding to use some substances while abstaining from using others.
The primary therapeutic modality that I utilize in my practice is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), although I also incorporate skills, practices, and theories from Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Narrative Therapy. I tailor my approach to each individual client, as I firmly believe that each individual that I work with has their own unique set of strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences.
My style as a therapist is relational and supportive, and I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely understood. Our work together isn’t about fixing you or pushing you to change before you’re ready. It’s about building a trusting relationship where you can show up as yourself — without masking, over-explaining, or having all the answers.

With a warm and collaborative style, I strive to make therapy feel approachable, respectful, and genuinely connected to each client’s needs. I bring curiosity, care, and intention to my work, and I value helping clients navigate challenges while also reconnecting with their sense of self, purpose, and direction. My practice, Infinite Pathways, reflects my belief that there is more than one way forward, and that healing often begins when people feel supported in discovering what works best for them.

Hello, I'm Tracey.
"Relationships often die not because of conversations that were had but rather conversations that were never had," (Lysa Terkeurst).
Communication is the #1 most reported reason for couples to enter therapy. It is the "appropriate" way of saying, "he doesn't listen to me," and "all she wants to do is talk and talk, {nag}" or giving each other what I refer to as the "non-verbal abuse" {silent treatment}. It means I don't know my partner, or we can't talk without fighting. Yet almost every couple starts off communicating at some level. I mean, come on--you and your partner would not be a couple if the first date involved playing the "Staring contest" where the first one to blink loses.
What we fail to recognize is that Communication is a form of Intimacy. And all other forms on intimacy hinge on protecting the communicative intimacy. So, what is that and how do I get some before we leave each other?
Communicative intimacy refers to the deep emotional and relational closeness that develops through communication, where individuals feel understood, valued, and connected on a personal level. It is both a feeling and a process shaped by how people interact, listen, and respond to each other. It involves an aligned commitment to taking care of it and protecting it. So, time's a wasting and you both are out of options. You both need to commit to starting this before you commit to ending.
Hello, my name is Lee Sutherland, LCPC, ATR. I am an Artist, Art Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. With a passion for creativity and mental health wellness, I created Loamy Creative Wellness, LLC to be a virtual therapeutic art studio that serves as a creative digital portal to make space for freedom, love, connection, curiosity & authenticity. I’ve seen firsthand how art can support individuals in processing trauma, anxiety, and depression, and I’m committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for people to explore their creativity, internal world, and experiences.
I assist folks through individual therapy, group art therapy, creative workshops, mindfulness, and artists/creatives support spaces. I function from a relational, ecowomanism, afrofuturism and Black Queer feminist framework where I use creative processes, curiosity, and compassion as a guide to assist folks in making the shifts, naming experience, and moving towards value aligned living. The modalities that I weave into my practice are DBT, ACT, and CPT. I also use mindfulness and body practices with the purpose of integrating the body, mind, and spirit.
If you’re seeking a supportive and experienced guide on your healing journey, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Do you feel stuck in a pattern that is negatively impacting your overall wellness?
Just as important as the "why" is the "what" aspect of the mind. What we think, what we feel and what we believe are all intertwined with our behavior. Exploring the thoughts and beliefs that underpin certain actions can lead to profound self-awareness and personal growth. In my interactions with clients, I have witnessed the transformative power of uncovering and challenging deep-seated beliefs that no longer serve them.
While patterns and commonalities may emerge among individuals, it is crucial to remember that each person's mind is a unique landscape. What works for one may not work for another, and it is my duty as a clinician to adapt the plan of care accordingly. As a therapist and health coach, I incorporate a holistic (mind/body) approach.

I’m a thoughtful, down-to-earth therapist who values authenticity, trust, and genuine connection. My strengths-based approach is grounded in compassion and respect, and I aim to meet each person exactly where they are without judgment.
I work with adults, college students, and older adults who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, grief, traumatic experiences, relationship concerns, and recovery maintenance from addiction. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.
With more than 16 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’ve supported people through some of life’s most difficult moments. I draw on evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), always tailoring counseling to your individual needs.
Welcome! I’m so glad you have found your way here.
Often we get swept up in the competing demands around us and forgo what we need. We can lose ourselves without even realizing it or maybe we never had the chance in the first place. Before we know it, we are stuck thinking, "Why can’t I seem to do what’s most important to me? What is most important to me anyway?" My hope is that together we can find healing and create a life you want to live. I think of my role as a guide offering a new perspective. A light in the dark.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I have worked in the mental health field for seventeen years in both hospital and outpatient settings. This experience includes work in direct patient care, program development, and in hospital administration in a clinical director role.
I also have taught coursework in psychology and human development in a university setting, and worked in an administrative capacity in secondary education in the state of Illinois. My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. My clinical approach brings behavioral intervention and education together in a clinical setting. I enjoy using psychoeducation as a foundation for treatment. That means I like to focus on educating the patient on their symptoms/diagnosis so we can collaborate on a treatment plan that they understand and makes sense for their life circumstance. If people understand why they experience the symptoms they have and how their body responds to stressors; it can give them the insight necessary to build skills to cope in a healthy and effective way.
