I will like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a licensed mental health therapist. I want to tell you a little about myself and my fieldwork experiences. I worked in this field for several years, along with various training, to assist clients in different areas. In the last several years, I worked in a mental health hospital with adolescents, substance abuse, and crisis intervention in various settings. People with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia were some of the people I helped at work. I worked with individuals on career choices to increase their career paths to maximize success. I support individuals in their desire to become independent, and I do this by helping them identify their true potential.

As someone who has personally benefited from counseling, I understand firsthand how transformative it can be, even for those who may be skeptical. I’ve spent years supporting individuals, families, and groups on their journey to wellness, helping them uncover their unique strengths and develop personalized plans for success. I’m a self-proclaimed resource junkie, continuously seeking ways to provide valuable tools and insights that empower others. I specialize in working with teenagers, older adults, individuals with disabilities, and anyone who simply needs a compassionate listener. I’m passionate about how counseling and improving mental health can strengthen our community as a whole. Additionally, my experience extends into vocational rehabilitation and Social Security disability benefits counseling, allowing me to offer comprehensive support tailored to your needs. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy with 9 years of professional work experience. I attended Saint Leo University and gained my Master of Social Work Advanced Clinical Practice degree. I gained most of my experience and knowledge working in the community mental health setting with diverse populations. I have a passion for helping others improve their lives and increase their overall well-being. I started my career working with children and adolescents and then expanded to adult mental health and substance use disorders. I have held many positions in my career which has allowed for career growth. I started as a front-line provider and then proceeded to become a team lead, program director, and vice president tile while working at a large community mental health agency. The experience I have gained throughout my career has equipped me with the needed tools to assist individuals and families in progressive healing.

I help everyday people individuals, teens, and couples work through the stress, trauma, and conflict that build up in a real life. Some of the people I see are carrying the weight of high-pressure work like the military, healthcare, or first response; others are just tired of holding it all together on their own. Either way, you get the same thing: a grounded, nonjudgmental space to say what's really going on, and practical tools to build a life that feels purposeful instead of just managed.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Palm Beach County, Florida. I have been providing clinical counseling services in the private practice and community mental health environments since 2000. I have worked extensively with children and families impacted by all forms of trauma and stress, anxiety and panic disorder, and with adolescent females.

After a career in the corporate world, I "reinvented" by going back to school to obtain a masters degree in counseling. I have worked at the VA, FL civil commitment prison, a psychiatric hospital and for the last five years counsel for a local hospital system serving a diverse population. Married, 5 kids, (3 adopted), cats and dogs, successes and failures in both business and personal life. I continue to learn how to navigate life's challenges and find meaning and purpose helping others. I practice CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, but believe the client's language should drive their journey. Being heard and understood is a partnership. Cultivating peace inside us allows us to see things as they really are. I pledge to always do my best for you.
