I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) based in Florida, with a strong focus on integrative, client-centered care. I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with mental health challenges (Bi-Polar Disorder, OCD, PTSD), substance use, and co-occurring disorders. My approach blends evidence-based therapeutic modalities with holistic strategies to promote healing, resilience, and lasting change. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and build the tools they need for meaningful healing and personal growth.
In our first session, my main goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing what brings you to me. We'll start by going over some initial paperwork, including confidentiality and your rights as a client. Then we’ll talk about your goals, your history, and any current challenges you’re facing—emotionally, mentally, or behaviorally. It’s a chance for me to get a well-rounded understanding of who you are, and for you to ask questions about the therapy process. I may also share a bit about how I work, especially my integrative approach that blends traditional talk therapy with supportive, holistic strategies. There’s no pressure to share everything right away—this is your space, and we go at a pace that feels right for you. By the end of the session, we’ll start to outline a plan for moving forward together, whether that’s weekly sessions, specific treatment goals, or simply beginning to build a therapeutic relationship that feels supportive and effective for you.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to truly listen—not just to the words, but to the emotion, the patterns, and what’s not being said. Clients often tell me they feel seen and heard in a way they haven’t experienced before. I bring a calm, grounded energy into the room that helps people feel safe opening up, even when they’re sharing things they’ve never said out loud. I believe in being adaptable. Whether a client needs structure, deep processing, practical tools, or just a quiet space to be real, I meet them where they are. My integrative approach allows me to personalize treatment based on each person’s unique story, strengths, and goals. And finally, my background in both mental health disorders, trauma and maladaptive coping skills such as addiction has given me a deep understanding of complex, layered challenges. I’m comfortable sitting with hard emotions and guiding clients through the process of healing with empathy, respect, and nonjudgment.
The clients I’m best positioned to serve are those who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or out of alignment—but who still have that quiet inner voice telling them there’s something better on the other side of all this. My ideal client might be navigating anxiety, addiction, trauma, burnout, or life transitions. They may have tried to manage things on their own for a long time, and now they’re ready to be supported in a deeper, more intentional way. What we have in common is a desire for real, lasting change—not just symptom relief, but true healing. Like many of my clients, I value honesty, curiosity, and growth. I understand what it’s like to juggle responsibilities while also working through emotional weight. My clients often want someone who will hold them accountable, but also meet them with empathy and zero judgment. That’s exactly what I offer. If you’re looking for a therapist who blends clinical insight with a grounded, human approach—who will help you reconnect to your values, your goals, and your self—we’re likely a great fit.
As a clinical mental health therapist, I’ve found that integrating treatment methods to be incredibly valuable in meeting clients' diverse and complex needs. My experience involves blending traditional therapeutic interventions—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), REBT, and trauma-informed care—with complementary practices that support the mind-body connection, such as DBT and mindfulness to create a comprehensive care plan.
