Hi, I’m Stephanie. I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who works with adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, relationship stress, life transitions, and low self-esteem. My approach is warm, relational, and collaborative—I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe, understood, and able to make sense of your experiences. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware but find themselves saying, “Logically I know this, but I still feel this way.” Together, we’ll explore the deeper emotional patterns driving anxiety, relationship challenges, and self-doubt. I also integrate EMDR to help process and shift patterns at a deeper level, supporting you in building self-trust, healthier boundaries, and feeling more confident in yourself and your relationships.
In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in—whether that’s anxiety, relationship stress, or feeling stuck—and what you’d like to feel different. I’ll ask questions to understand your story, patterns, and goals. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of where we’re headed.
Clients often share that they feel genuinely understood in our work. I help you connect the dots between past experiences, current patterns, and emotional reactions—especially in anxiety and relationships. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical, integrating approaches like EMDR to support deeper, lasting change.
I work best with young adults and adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, self-doubt, and relationship stress. Many are high-functioning and self-aware but feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to change. You might notice people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or constantly questioning and doubting yourself in all kinds of relationships — romantic, friendships, professionally. Together, we’ll work toward building self-trust, healthier boundaries, and feeling more confident, secure, and at ease in how you relate to yourself and others.
Relational
Therapy works best when you feel safe and understood. I focus on building a genuine connection where you don’t have to filter yourself. Together, we’ll look at patterns in your relationships and experiences that may be shaping how you feel today, and work toward healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT helps you handle difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them control your life. Instead of trying to get rid of anxiety or stress, we work on changing how you respond to them — so you can move toward what truly matters to you.
Experiential Therapy
Sometimes talking about a problem isn’t enough. This approach helps you connect with your emotions in real time so deeper change can happen. We may explore different parts of you or use guided techniques (ex. EMDR) to help you process experiences and feel more aligned with your true self.
EMDR
EMDR is a therapy approach that helps process experiences that feel stuck and continue to impact how you think, feel, and show up—especially in anxiety and relationships. Even when something makes sense logically, emotional patterns can still persist. EMDR helps your brain reprocess those experiences so they feel less intense and no longer drive the same reactions. I use it in a collaborative, supportive way, always moving at your pace.

Stephanie is my third therapist in seven years and she has been the most impactful in terms of setting proactive goals for my mental health. Her warm and comforting spirit feels so welcoming during sessions and she makes me feel so understood. She is able to point out why certain feelings come up and back this up with evidence, while still making the conversation feel personal. She never makes me feel judged or alone in my feelings. I’m so thankful to have found a therapist like her!

I loved my first session with Stephanie; I felt like she understood my situation when I can't even do that in my own head, and she was also a very good listener and feedback provider and I'm excited to continue working with her to help me figure myself out.

After my first session with Stephanie I felt so validated and seen. It has been a struggled to find a new therapist who I click with after spending years with my previous one. I look forward to future sessions.
