(she/her)
Do you struggle with depression, anxiety, a challenging relationship, or childhood/adult trauma that affects your day-to-day life, your relationships, or even your ability to function? Do you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or lost with being able to just get through the day? Do you question or wonder if life could or will get better? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious, depressed, uncertain and overwhelmed and some are feeling nothing at all about the struggles. I love to empower high-functioning men and women to recognize their strengths and resiliency. With a mix of cognitive therapy and bodywork together we can get to the root of the problem. When taking a holistic approach together we can address the mind, body, and spirit.
In the first session, you can expect to learn a little information about how the therapist works with you. You can expect the therapist to listen and develop a plan to help you met your goals.
The client will learn to recognize what emotions they are feeling and where they are feeling these emotions in their body. I utilize tools that will help the client practice self-awareness to eliminate being on autopilot.
My biggest strength is listening to the client, and putting myself in their shoes. Another strength is meeting the client where they are at mentally and emotionally. Working alongside the client to help them reach their goals is a very important part of the therapeutic relationship .
I am best position to serve client who are know what goals they want to meet and with client who are unsure what goals they want to meet. The main concern for the client is that they want to feel better and learn healthy thoughts and behaviors.
