Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I believe healing begins when you’re met with both honesty and compassion. I work with adults of all ages navigating the tender in-between spaces—figuring out who they are, where they’re headed, and what’s been weighing them down. My heart is especially drawn to first-generation college students, survivors of abuse, and anyone feeling a little unmoored in life. You don’t have to come in with answers. Together, we’ll untangle the knots, explore what’s been silenced, and gently reshape the narrative. My role is to hold space, reflect your strength, and help you shape a life that feels like home.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know you. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you in, what your life looks like right now, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy—but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at your pace. Think of it as the beginning of a conversation, not an interrogation. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported—where we can begin untangling what’s heavy and start shaping a path forward that feels true to you. I’ll also introduce myself and share a little about how I approach therapy. I’m not a blank-slate therapist—I believe that connection and curiosity are key to healing. You’re welcome to ask questions about my style, background, or anything else that might help you feel more comfortable. We’ll also take a few minutes to walk through some important foundations: informed consent, confidentiality and its limits, practice policies, and what to expect when it comes to scheduling, communication, and support between sessions. I want you to feel empowered and informed from the very beginning. This session is just the start. You don’t have to have everything figured out. We’re here to begin, together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen in our work—that I hold space without judgment while still offering gentle challenge and clarity. My style is conversational, collaborative, and grounded in real connection. Therapy with me might include moments of quiet reflection, laughter, or even dark humor—because sometimes, that’s how we survive. I believe in using humor thoughtfully, when it feels safe and appropriate, as a way to cope, connect, and breathe a little easier. I’m especially skilled at helping clients talk about the things they’ve often kept hidden—including suicidal thoughts. I don’t tiptoe around the topic or meet it with panic. I see suicidal ideation as a coping strategy, not a character flaw. Often, it’s less about wanting to die and more about feeling completely burned out and overwhelmed by life. I work with clients to understand what those thoughts are communicating and explore ways to find relief, meaning, and safety without shame. My greatest strengths lie in helping people untangle what’s heavy, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and build lives rooted in authenticity. I weave together evidence-based practices like EMDR, IFS-informed work, and narrative therapy with a deeply human approach that honors your story, your strengths, and your pace. If you’ve ever felt “too much,” “not enough,” or somewhere in between—I’m here to remind you that you’re not broken, and you don’t have to carry it all alone.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals who are navigating life’s messy middle—those questioning their identity, craving clarity, or feeling like they’ve lost touch with themselves. Many of my clients carry quiet heaviness: anxiety, self-doubt, past trauma, or the sense that they’re “too much” or “not enough.” My ideal clients are deep feelers, quiet strugglers, late bloomers, and those who’ve spent years holding it all together for everyone else. They may not know exactly what they need yet—but they’re ready to start untangling the past, setting boundaries, and building a life that feels more like their own.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process distressing memories in a way that feels safe and empowering. It’s especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, and negative self-beliefs. Together, we’ll gently work through what’s keeping you stuck, so you can move forward with greater peace and clarity.

Reality Therapy

In our work together, I’ll help you explore the choices you’re making and how they align with your needs and goals. Reality Therapy focuses on what’s in your control—empowering you to make changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I take an IFS-informed approach, helping you connect with and understand the different “parts” of yourself—like the part that feels anxious or the part that wants to shut down. When we get curious about these parts instead of judging them, healing and inner harmony become possible.

Strength-Based

You already have so many inner strengths—sometimes it just takes a little support to see them clearly. I help you uncover and build on what’s already working, so you can approach challenges from a place of capability and hope.

Narrative

Your story matters—and you have the power to shape it. Through narrative therapy, we’ll explore the ways your experiences and identities have been shaped by others and help you reclaim authorship of your own life, values, and voice.
