Hello all. I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist who graduated from Nova Southeastern University. I have a diverse and valuable background in supporting individuals through various life transitions and challenges. My experience as both a therapist and a case manager provided me with a well-rounded perspective on the needs of the clients. Due to this experience, I focus on working with young adults and adults on challenges such as life transition, boundaries, values, anxiety, family relationships, and communication. Working with clients in the therapy room with these challenges is crucial as these are common areas where many people need support and guidance.
As your therapist, I initiate our sessions by asking about the reasons for choosing therapy. Afterward, I get to know you, your values, beliefs, perspectives about life, and your goals. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and understanding is essential for our work together.
My experience working with a diverse populations from many different path of life has provided me the ability to listen attentively and empathize with each individual's unique needs. My openness to different perspectives and paths is a valuable asset in creating a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment. I allow my clients the space to explore their own paths, you empower them to tap into their inner resources and find solutions that resonate with their values and experiences. This approach not only fosters a sense of autonomy and agency but also encourages self-discovery and personal growth.
SFBT treatment method is used to highlight your strengths and demonstrate that you are equipped with the necessary tools for impactful change. We will use scaling to gain a greater understanding of where you believe you are at and the ideas on how you can make that happen with my support.
Narrative therapy assist clients with changing deconstructing the narrative by looking over your past life map and creating a new narrative that is right for you.
Person-centered therapy is used to create a non-judgmental space in which you get to explore all the different thoughts you have and see which path fits best in your life. My role is to walk down that path with you to clarify, reflect, and guide you to what is the best decision for your life.
