I am licensed in Illinois and Utah with 6 years of professional work experience in community mental health and substance abuse. While working in community mental health has been a wonderful experience, I decided to move forward in my career and have been in private practice for almost a year now.

I have experience in helping clients with a varity of concerns from coping with addictions to parenting issues. I work with individuals with a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. First session
During our first session we will complete an intake/assessments as well as determine what your goals are for treatment.
Strengths
I have strengths in working with clients struggling with addiction as well as mental health concerns.
Ideal clients
Clients ages 18 and up. I provide individual therapy and support. I do not offer family therapy or couples counseling at this time.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use a variety of cbt techniques in my practice. We will work on identifying cognitive distortions, replacing unhealthy thoughts, putting thoughts on trial, and utilizing behavioral activation.
