Licensed in MA & NY: Hi there! I'm Sandy, a bilingual licensed therapist with 18 years of experience, I help adults move out of cycles of overthinking, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients are used to holding it all together on the outside, but feel stuck, burned out, or unsure of themselves underneath. Using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a person-centered approach, we go beyond insight to identify what’s keeping you stuck and take practical, effective steps toward change. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also helping you build stronger self-trust, improve relationships and boundaries, and feel more in control of your day-to-day life.” I hold dual master's degrees from Boston University, one in Financial Economics (yeah, numbers are my thing) and the other in Social Work (because people matter most!) During the therapy session, I prioritize creating a warm and empathetic environment where you feel truly heard and understood.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my priority is helping you feel safe, understood, and not alone in what you’re dealing with. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you at your pace, while also starting to make sense of patterns and possibilities for change. Together, we will begin to develop a treatment plan that supports your overall well-being. You can expect a warm, supportive environment where your experiences are heard and your path to mental and emotional balance is prioritized.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My person-centered approach means that our work together revolves around your journey, ensuring that you feel empowered to make meaningful changes. I'm here to support you in exploring and navigating life's challenges. I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques to match what works best for you. Outside the therapy room, I'm a part-time professor at Bridgewater State University. This dual role means you will receive therapeutic support rooted in the latest research and psychological expertise. Together, we'll set achievable goals and work towards outcomes that enhance your overall well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with insightful adults who feel stuck despite understanding their patterns. Many struggle with anxiety, overthinking, or difficulty trusting themselves in relationships and decisions. My ideal clients are those seeking compassionate, nonjudgmental care and a collaborative approach to their treatment. They value personalized support, evidence-based interventions, and a safe space to address their concerns and achieve balance in their lives. I also enjoy working with young professionals navigating career transitions, work-related stress, and work-life balance. My clients are not looking for surface-level conversations, they want to make real changes in how they think, feel, and show up in their daily lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in a trauma-informed way to help high-functioning adults who feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm. Together, we go beyond insight to identify what’s actually keeping you stuck and develop practical, realistic ways to create meaningful change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I integrate Solution-Focused Therapy to help you shift out of feeling stuck and overwhelmed by focusing on your strengths, resilience, and small, meaningful changes. Together, we identify what’s possible and build realistic steps forward that feel manageable and effective.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, meaning our work is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to you. I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, which allows us to do deeper, more effective work.
