New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 8 years of experience supporting adults, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I help clients navigate stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm using a compassionate, collaborative approach. My style is interactive, strength-based, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and respected. Together, we’ll identify what’s not working, strengthen what is, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Your first session is a welcoming, pressure-free space to share what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background experiences, and the areas of your life you’d like to improve. You can expect me to ask thoughtful questions to better understand your needs, challenges, and strengths. This session also helps us determine whether we are a good fit and begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. You do not need to prepare anything in advance — just come as you are. By the end of our first meeting, you can expect greater clarity about next steps and how we will work together moving forward.
My greatest strength is creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be honest and understood. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships because meaningful change begins with trust and connection. I bring experience working with individuals and families facing anxiety, stress, substance use, anger management, and relationship challenges. My approach blends evidence-based methods — including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and ACT — with practical, real-life strategies clients can apply immediately. Clients often tell me they appreciate my collaborative style, clear guidance, and ability to help them gain insight while also focusing on actionable steps forward. I tailor treatment to each person’s goals, helping them build resilience, improve communication, and create lasting emotional growth.
I work best with adults, couples, and families who are ready to better understand themselves and create positive change. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, relationship conflict, or major life transitions and want practical tools to cope more effectively. You may be struggling with communication challenges, emotional reactivity, low motivation, or difficulty managing responsibilities and expectations. Some clients come to improve self-esteem, rebuild trust in relationships, or break unhelpful patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My ideal clients don’t need to have everything figured out — they just need openness, curiosity, and a willingness to explore new perspectives. Whether you want to feel more in control of your emotions, strengthen relationships, or develop healthier coping strategies, we will work together to create meaningful and sustainable change.
