I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board Certified Autism Technician. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. I started my counseling education while working as an ABA therapist, working with children and teens on the autism spectrum. I went on to lead in-school group counseling, and working with adults in-office. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for clients, while promoting a safe place for healing without judgement.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
With my experience working with children, teens, and young adults, I understand the importance of creating trust and connection with clients. It is my mission to get to know each client as their own unique person, and meet their specific individual needs.
I most enjoy counseling individuals and groups struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, ADHD, ASD-related challenges, abuse, and neurological disorders. I utilize behavioral therapy, CBT, family therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to suit individual needs. My goal is to help children, teens, and young adults reach their highest potential and to help families live more harmonious and happier lives together.
I help clients change their negative thinking to positive, in turn changing their view of the world around them.
