Hello!! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina with over 20 years experience supporting individuals as they overcome various challenges. I strive to build strong therapeutic relationships with my clients to create a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

First session

During your first session, we will discuss your psychosocial history as a part of your intake assessment. Psychosocial history including family/social history, medical history, drug/alcohol assessment, abuse history, etc. We will use this time to also determine if we are good therapeutic match / fit for ongoing sessions. There will be opportunity to discuss potential goals for therapy and discuss a suggested treatment plan.

Keya is all the things! I took a year long break from therapy and came back and we picked back up like it was nothing. She asks inquisitive questions and truly makes me feel seen and heard. She might be the only "stranger" I'm comfortable enough to boo hoo cry in front of and share my true feelings. I'm so happy that I found her.

From day one Keya has been so kind. She is a great listener and brings things back full circle. In our few short sessions she has challenged me to think (during and post sessions) about our topics and really be honest with myself. I cannot say that it is easy, but her warm and empowering approach makes the process more palatable.
