I’m a therapist who works with teens (13–17) and adults (18+) who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their heads, or just tired of holding everything together on their own. A lot of the people I work with look like they’re doing “fine” on the outside, but inside they’re dealing with anxiety, stress, low mood, or feeling like they’re falling behind in school, work, relationships, or life in general. In therapy, I offer a space where you don’t have to filter yourself or pretend you’re okay. Together, we focus on making sense of what you’re feeling, finding practical ways to cope, and helping you feel more grounded and in control of your day-to-day life. The goal is simple: to help you feel more like yourself again, with tools that actually fit your real life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Walking into your first therapy session can feel a little intimidating—especially if you’ve been holding everything in for a while or you’re not sure how to even start talking about what’s going on. In our first session, the focus is simply on getting to know you and what’s been feeling hard lately. You might be dealing with anxiety that won’t shut off, feeling overwhelmed by school, work, or relationships, or just noticing you don’t feel like yourself anymore. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, what your day-to-day has been like, and what you’re hoping will feel different. There’s no pressure to “say it right” or have everything figured out. I’ll ask questions to help guide the conversation, and we’ll start identifying what’s been weighing on you and what support might actually feel helpful—not just in theory, but in real life. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a clearer sense of what therapy with me will look like and at least one small direction to start moving toward feeling more grounded and in control. When you’re ready to stop carrying it all on your own and start feeling some relief, I’m here to help you take that first step.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that I meet clients where they are, especially when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to put their feelings into words. Many of the teens (13–17) and adults (18+) I work with come in feeling anxious, burned out, or like they’re “functioning” on the outside but struggling internally, and I focus on helping them feel understood first, before anything else. Clients often tell me they appreciate that sessions feel safe, honest, and practical. We don’t just talk about what’s going wrong; we work on making sense of it together and building coping strategies that actually fit real life, whether that’s managing anxiety spirals, handling stress from school or work, or navigating difficult life transitions. My goal is for clients to leave therapy feeling more grounded, more in control of their emotions, and more confident in how to handle what they’re facing day to day.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or like you’re carrying more stress than anyone around you realizes. Many of the clients I work with- teens (13–17) and adults (18+) come to therapy feeling anxious in social situations, overwhelmed by school, work, or family pressure, or exhausted from constantly trying to “hold it together” while feeling disconnected from themselves. I specialize in working one-on-one with individuals who are ready to feel more emotionally grounded, confident, and in control of their day-to-day lives. This often includes teens navigating identity, peer stress, or family conflict, as well as adults managing anxiety, low mood, burnout, or difficult life transitions. Together, we focus on helping you understand what you’re feeling, build practical coping tools that actually fit your life, and create real change that helps you feel more like yourself again. When you’re ready to step out of the constant stress and start feeling more balanced and supported, I’m here to help you take that next step.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

If you constantly find yourself overthinking, expecting the worst, struggling to relax, or feeling emotionally drained by stress, anxiety, or depression, therapy can help you break out of those patterns. Together, we’ll work on understanding the thoughts and behaviors that keep you feeling stuck while building healthier ways to cope with daily stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to help you feel more confident, emotionally balanced, and better equipped to manage the challenges life brings.

Motivational Interviewing

Sometimes you know something needs to change, but you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. I help clients work through anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship stress, and life transitions by creating a supportive space where they can explore what’s holding them back and build confidence in making meaningful changes. Whether you’re trying to improve your emotional well-being, adjust to a new phase of life, or reconnect with yourself, therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity and direction.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

You may feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in self-doubt, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on your own while still showing up for others. I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can openly process anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, and women’s or maternal mental health concerns without fear of being misunderstood or judged. Together, we’ll focus on helping you feel heard, supported, and more connected to yourself so you can move toward healing, confidence, and emotional balance.

Psychoeducation

Many people struggle with anxiety, stress, burnout, or depression without fully understanding why they feel the way they do or how to manage it effectively. In therapy, I help clients better understand their emotional patterns, triggers, and responses while learning practical coping skills they can use in everyday life. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your emotions, improve your ability to cope with stress and life transitions, and gain tools that support long-term emotional wellness.
