I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a master’s degree and over 25 years of experience in the health care industry. My journey began as a CNA, then an RN, and later an RN-BSN—each step deepening my love for patient care. Along the way, I developed a passion for mental health and decided to expand my practice to serve this vital need. My career has taken me across borders—from Ghana and England to the USA—giving me a unique perspective on culturally sensitive care. I’ve worked in diverse specialties, but what stays constant is my commitment to empathy, compassion, and treating each person as a whole. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Care of the Older Person from the University of West England, Bristol (2008), my RN-BSN from Grand Canyon University in Arizona, and my PMHNP from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. To me, healing starts with human connection. Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. That’s why I take a patient-centered approach, with personalized treatment plans that includes medication management, therapy, including genetic testing to guide decisions. I also emphasize lifestyle factors—like nutrition, sleep, and exercise—because mental health is woven into every part of life. I currently welcome new patients and specialize in: Depression & Anxiety PTSD, OCD, and Panic Disorders ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, and Psychoses Addiction and Personality Disorders When I’m not working, you’ll find me with family and friends, volunteering, or sharing mental health education with youth groups, couples, and organizations., and it inspires the holistic care I offer—because true wellness encompasses mind, body, and spirit.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

"Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll start with a friendly conversation about what brought you here, then explore the challenges you’re facing in depth. By the end, we’ll have a clear roadmap tailored just for you—so you leave feeling heard and hopeful about next steps. Think of our first meeting as a two-part process: First, we’ll break the ice and get comfortable. Then, we’ll focus on what’s weighing on you most. My job is to listen carefully—so by the time you leave, we’ll already have a game plan to start making progress."

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

"My greatest strength is seeing the whole *person—not just symptoms. With many years of practice across nursing roles and cultures, I blend clinical expertise with deep empathy. Whether it’s medication management, therapy, or lifestyle changes, I honor your unique story, needs, and goals. My clients tell me they finally feel heard and hopeful after years of feeling dismissed." "I specialize in breaking down barriers—especially for those who’ve avoided mental health care due to stigma or bad past experiences. My approach is practical, nonjudgmental, with culturally competence. Whether you’re navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, or career burnout, we will work together. "I excel at translating complex mental health concepts into actionable steps. I focus on clarity and collaboration. Together, we’ll demystify your treatment , so you feel empowered—not passive—in your healing journey." "I don’t just treat symptoms—I help people build lifelong resilience. My mix of therapy, medication management, and lifestyle coaching equips you with tools to handle setbacks, not just survive them. Think of me as your guide to sustainable mental wellness.
