Hi! I'm a licensed Professional Psychiatry NP base in Lima, Ohio. I received two Masters degree from University of Cincinnati, one in Family practice NP, and one as a Psychiatry NP and board certified by ANCC and AANP. I have been practicing for 5 years has Psych NP and i have been opportune to be of service to many patients. It is a great privilege in helping others, as bringing happiness to others through my job bring happiness to me as well. I am passionate about mental health and look forward to meeting you today!
In the first session, we are expected to discuss client chief complaint, history of their present illness, mental health and medical history, social and family history among others for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
My greatest strength as a provider is active listening, treating the patient has a whole person, caring for patient mental health at the same time looking at other contributing factors to patient mental wellness. Contributing factors like b12, folate, vitamin D, TSH, other prescribed medication and blood pressure among others.
i have been opportune to serve many patients with mental health disorders. Our care is individualized, as each patient is unique, we care for our patient with active listening, prescribing medication, teaching psychotherapy after accurate DSM diagnosis.
Our treatment with CBT is structured and goal oriented, focusing on the present moment. Helping patient to develop coping skills, change unhelpful behaviors, recognizing their negative thoughts pattern, thoughts tracking, cognitive restructuring with positive thought and learning problem solving skills among others.

I have been anxious and sad since my daughter got sick. He listened when I said I needed a med adjustment. He is matter of fact but seemed to care what I had to say.
