Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Alleviating symptoms while providing an increase in positive thoughts and feelings is a holistic focus towards wellbeing. Stress, frustration, anger, or fear that can cause our lives to become unbalanced. Guiding clients to explore and identify problems while searching for solutions will empower individuals to take control of their lives. Practicing techniques in finding meaning, gratitude, and hope can influence a sense of confidence in things that are difficult to manage or control.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts influence our feelings and actions. CBT helps clients identify and challenge negative thinking patterns, then replace them with healthier beliefs. This collaborative approach often includes homework assignments and is proven to be effective for a variety of issues, such as depression and anxiety, in a relatively short time.

Compassion Focused

Using CFT helps with issues such as anxiety, or feelings of shame and self-criticism, often linked to past trauma. Using techniques like visualization and mindfulness, CFT teaches clients to connect with their thoughts and body. It promotes self-compassion and compassion for others, helping regulate emotions and build a sense of safety, acceptance, and comfort.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered Therapy provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients lead the conversation and discover their own solutions. Listening compassionately, without directing the discussion, and encourages self-discovery, offering support without interference.
