New to Grow
I believe that every person has unique strengths and abilities, even during difficult times. As a therapist, I focus on helping clients recognize those strengths and use them as a foundation for growth, healing, and positive change. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I enjoy incorporating creativity into therapy to make the process engaging and meaningful. Depending on the client's age, interests, and goals, this may include art activities, games, storytelling, hands-on exercises, mindfulness techniques, or other creative approaches that help clients express themselves and build new skills. My goal is to help children, teens, adults, couples, and families gain confidence, develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and create lasting positive changes in their lives.
In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what led you to seek therapy. I want to understand what you hope to achieve, what support looks like for you, and any concerns or questions you may have about the process. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and understood so that we can work together in a way that feels meaningful and effective for you. From the beginning, we'll focus on your strengths and identify goals that help you move toward the changes you would like to see in your life.
What makes my sessions unique is the way I incorporate creativity into the therapeutic process. I understand that talking alone is not always the best way for everyone to express themselves, especially children, teens, and individuals who may find it difficult to put their thoughts and feelings into words. I use creative and interactive approaches to help clients feel more comfortable, engaged, and connected throughout therapy. Depending on your needs and interests, sessions may include games, art-based activities, storytelling, role-playing, worksheets, mindfulness exercises, or other hands-on techniques designed to make learning new skills both meaningful and enjoyable. These creative tools can help clients explore emotions, improve communication, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and gain new perspectives in a way that feels natural and approachable. While creativity is an important part of my work, every session is tailored to the individual. My goal is to create an experience that feels supportive, engaging, and empowering while helping you make meaningful progress toward your goals. Therapy doesn't have to feel intimidating—it can be a space where growth, self-discovery, and healing happen in ways that feel comfortable and authentic to you
I am passionate about working with children and adolescents ages 3–17, helping them build on their strengths and develop healthy coping skills. I also enjoy supporting couples in strengthening their connection and communication, and working with families to foster more positive, resilient relationships. I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted. My goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges, build confidence, improve relationships, and develop practical tools that support lasting growth, emotional well-being, and success both at home and in everyday life
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a type of therapy that focuses on how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all connected. Sometimes, the way we think about situations can make us feel worse or stuck. In CBT, we work together to notice those patterns and gently change them so you can feel better and respond in ways that help you
Couples Counseling
Couples therapy is a space where both partners can feel heard and understood. My role isn’t to take sides—it’s to help you both understand each other better, communicate more effectively, and work through challenges together
Play Therapy
Play therapy is a way of helping children express their thoughts and feelings through play, instead of just words. Since kids don’t always have the language to explain what’s going on inside, they show us through how they play. I use that to understand them and help them work through challenges
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a way for everyone in the family to come together and improve how you communicate, understand each other, and handle challenges as a group. Instead of focusing on just one person, we look at how everyone’s actions and reactions affect each other
Strength-Based
In strengths-based therapy, we focus on what’s already working for you—not just what’s wrong. Everyone has strengths, even if they don’t feel obvious right now. My role is to help you identify those strengths and use them to handle challenges and move forward
