Choosing to engage in therapy, in a way, means choosing yourself. It is not always easy to believe we can feel better, or even just feel different. Sometimes it’s not easy to accept how we feel is perfectly normal and okay. You’ve learned so much on your journey, I hope to help you see how much you already have and help you on your journey forward, even if that feels really messy or impossible at times. I strive to provide a confidential and accepting space where you can explore how you got here and figure out where you want to go. My practice focuses on a strengths-based approach. Through mindfulness and evidence-based practice, I treat trauma, anxiety, depression, and problems of living.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will do a brief introduction and dive into what brings to you to session. The first session often involves more detailed questions about your life and experiences as a whole, with a focus on clarifying your specific goals. This session helps us to get to know each other and begin to figure out where we are going.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and mindfulness in my practice with clients, depending on their needs and preferences.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work well with clients who are open to the process and are willing to be a little creative in our work together. Therapy can be difficult at times but even the hardest sessions should feel like growth. I specialize in helping clients align with themselves, their most powerful tool, so they can move forward in their most authentic way.
