My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to CBT help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress or behavioral issues. I work collaboratively with clients to replace these thoughts with more balanced, realistic ones and to develop practical coping strategies.

Strength-Based

I use this approach focuses on identifying and amplifying your inherent strengths, skills, and resources rather than focusing solely on problems or deficits. I help clients recognize their past successes, resilience, and values, and use those as a foundation for setting goals and overcoming current challenges to promote empowerment, confidence, and a more hopeful outlook.

Compassion Focused

I use Compassion Focused therapy to help clients who struggle with shame, self-criticism, or trauma develop a more kind and accepting inner voice. CFT integrates elements of CBT and mindfulness to build emotional regulation and self-soothing skills. My job is guide clients in practicing compassion for themselves and others to reduce inner conflict and distress.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I utilize Person-centered therapy to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel deeply heard and accepted. I do this using empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness, allowing the client to explore their emotions and experiences freely. Person-centered therapy believes that change is facilitated through the therapeutic relationship, with the belief that clients have the internal resources to grow and heal.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing techniques such as open-ended questions, reflective listening, and affirmations to help clients clarify their values and explore their own motivations. The approach is non-confrontational and empowers clients to take ownership of their change process by highlighting their strengths and capacity for choice.
