New to Grow
I am licensed in Texas with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, parenting issues, motivation, & self esteem. I also have experience working with confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
During the first session, clients can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where we will begin discussing their concerns, current stressors, personal history, and goals for therapy. The initial session is an opportunity to build rapport, explore emotional, relational, behavioral, or life challenges, and identify areas where support is needed. We may discuss symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship or family concerns, life transitions, stress, panic attacks, self-esteem, or other presenting issues. Clients are encouraged to share at a pace that feels comfortable for them. The first session also includes gathering background information related to mental health history, coping patterns, support systems, and current functioning. Together, we will begin identifying goals for treatment and discuss possible therapeutic approaches that may support healing, growth, emotional regulation, and improved overall well-being.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to create a safe, supportive, and authentic space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and genuine care while also helping clients develop practical tools for emotional healing and personal growth. What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to balance emotional support with accountability and skill-building. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions to help clients gain insight, improve coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. I strive to help clients not only process difficult experiences, but also build resilience, improve self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I am best positioned to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. I work well with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, uncertain about their next steps, or disconnected from themselves and others. Many of the clients I serve are navigating relationship challenges, stress, grief, identity shifts, career or family changes, and the emotional impact of past experiences. I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can process emotions, build healthy coping skills, increase self-awareness, and develop confidence in themselves and their decisions. My goal is to help clients heal, regain balance, improve emotional wellness, and move toward a more fulfilling and purposeful life. I also enjoy working with clients who are seeking personal growth, healthier relationships, improved self-esteem, and greater emotional resilience. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and I aim to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, empowered, and supported throughout their healing journey.
