I’m Amanda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida and nine years of clinical experience. I have worked with adults and couples in outpatient therapy and in crisis stabilization within an acute psychiatric setting. My work centers on helping people navigate periods of change, including pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, the transition into motherhood or fatherhood, changing relationships and family roles, career shifts, and other major life transitions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance for us to understand what brought you to therapy, what feels most important right now, and what you hope will change. We will talk about what has been happening, how it is affecting your daily life, and any patterns you have begun to notice. You do not need to have everything figured out or share your entire story at once. We will begin by identifying practical strategies to help you feel more grounded and supported. As therapy continues, we can explore what may be beneath the surface and use those insights to create clearer choices and meaningful change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My style is collaborative, grounded, and direct. I help clients make sense of anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, trauma responses, and relationship strain without treating these concerns as isolated problems. We look at the patterns, experiences, beliefs, and roles that may be influencing what you are going through. I balance practical strategies for managing current challenges with deeper exploration, helping you develop greater self-understanding and respond to your life with more intention and clarity.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m passionate about helping people understand what may be keeping them stuck and develop the tools needed to move forward with greater clarity and intention. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, but still feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next. Together, we look beneath the surface, identify the patterns shaping their lives, and turn that understanding into practical steps toward a more grounded and intentional way of living.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. We often begin by identifying unhelpful patterns and building practical skills to reduce distress, improve coping, and create more stability in daily life. Once you feel more grounded, we can look more closely at the beliefs and experiences beneath those patterns. The goal is not only to manage symptoms, but to integrate what you learn into clearer choices, healthier responses, and a more sustainable way of moving forward.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify what is working, clarify what they want to address, and take practical steps toward that goal. We focus on strengths, existing resources, and small actions that can create momentum. This approach is especially helpful for addressing immediate concerns while keeping therapy clear and purposeful. I use it alongside deeper exploration so that progress feels practical, focused, and connected to a stronger sense of direction.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients notice thoughts and emotions without reacting automatically. Through grounding and present focused awareness, clients can reduce distress, recognize patterns, and respond with greater intention.

Jungian

I draw from Jungian therapy to help clients explore recurring patterns, inner conflicts, and the roles they take on in relationships and daily life. Through deeper reflection, clients can better understand what may be operating beneath the surface and develop a more integrated, intentional relationship with themselves and others.
