(she/her)
Hello! I’m Kameke, a therapist with expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I use a personalized approach designed to help you build on your strengths, tackle difficulties, and create lasting, meaningful change. Together, we’ll set and work towards your goals in a supportive and collaborative environment. I’m here to guide you on your path to a healthier, happier life.
During our first session, we’ll have the chance to get acquainted and for me to learn about your individual circumstances. We’ll begin by talking about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. I’ll ask you some questions to better understand your background, the challenges you’re facing, and any specific concerns you’d like to address. We’ll also spend time identifying what’s going well in your life and recognizing your strengths. This session is a safe, confidential space where you are encouraged to share openly and honestly. By the end, we’ll have a better sense of how we can work together and outline an initial plan based on your unique needs. You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental environment where your well-being comes first. I’m here to listen, support, and help you begin your journey toward positive change.
What distinguishes my therapeutic approach is its collaborative, strengths-based, and goal-focused style. I prioritize practical solutions and aim to empower you to leverage the strengths you already possess. By creating a supportive and non-judgmental space, I’ll help you gain insight into your thoughts and behaviors, uncover your motivations, and build upon what’s already going well in your life. Clients often value my approach for its effectiveness and efficiency in facilitating meaningful, lasting change. I focus on teaching actionable strategies, fostering resilience, and developing skills that will benefit you beyond our sessions. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or significant life changes, my goal is to guide you toward a happier, healthier future.
My ideal clients are individuals aged 17 to 64 who are seeking support for mild life transitions, depression, and anxiety. I work with three primary age groups: adolescents and young adults (17–25) navigating changes such as transitioning from school to college or entering the workforce; adults (26–45) facing challenges related to career advancement, marriage, or parenting; and middle-aged adults (46–64) managing mid-life transitions, career shifts, or preparing for retirement. Many of my clients experience mild to moderate depression and anxiety as they cope with major life events, including job changes or shifts in relationships.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
With the use of CBT, I will support you in understanding and modifying the patterns of thoughts and behaviors that affect your everyday life. Our therapy sessions will be a collaborative journey where we'll work together to identify your concerns, set meaningful goals, and track your progress. We'll use practical tools and hands-on techniques to help you challenge and reframe negative thoughts, integrate rewarding activities, and build resilience.
Motivational Interviewing
In our sessions, with the use of motivational interviewing, I will support you by creating a non-judgmental and empathetic environment where we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals. We'll work together to identify any ambivalence or resistance you may feel about change, and I'll guide you through a process of self-discovery and decision-making.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
With the use of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, we will work together to identify what’s working well in your life and build on those successes. I’m here to support you in finding quick and effective solutions that fit your unique situation. Together, we'll unlock your potential and create a pathway to a brighter, solution-focused future.

I truly felt comfortable talking to her. Felt more like a conversation versus therapy and that’s what I needed. She gave me all the space I needed to express my thoughts.

Recently restarted therapy and although I did start with some apprehension. Within minutes Dr. Kameke made me feel like I was right where I needed to be. I’m looking forward to our next visit and continuing on this path of better mental health.
