I work with my clients to create a warm, open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. You are here because you need something to change, and you’ve come to the right place! I work consistently to stay on top of new trends and research within the counseling field to ensure I am providing the best services to my clients. The modalities I consistently use are an eclectic mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution focused practices to meet you where you are and work towards your specific goals. Above all, I am passionate about helping others achieve their goals and live the life they wish to!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your intake, we will talk about what brought you here and what you are hoping to achieve. My goal is to meet you where you are, whether that is using CBT to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking and actions that are keeping you stuck, or solution focused approaches that move you toward the life you want to create, maybe it's both! In all, I work empower you to overcome life's challenges

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

The primary strength I bring to my sessions is the ability to create an inherently safe, welcoming, and laidback environment where clients genuinely feel comfortable, deeply understood, and truly heard. I believe therapy works best when you can show up exactly as you are. But I don't just offer a listening ear, I partner with you to turn feeling heard into practical, real-world tools that lift symptoms, rebuild focus, and help you confidently get your life back.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is navigating one of life’s heavy, overwhelming seasons. Whether they are feeling stuck in the heavy fog of depression, spinning in the loops of anxiety, or feeling constantly derailed by ADHD and executive dysfunction. They might also be a couple or individual struggling to untangle deeply rooted relationship or family stress, or someone working through the complex layers of a major life transition. They are often looking for a space where they don't have to put up a front or worry about being judged. They appreciate a therapist who is down-to-earth, laidback, and deeply empathetic, but they aren't just looking for a passive listening ear, they are ready for real-world tools and actionable strategies. Ultimately, my ideal client is someone who is tired of just "surviving" day-to-day and is ready to collaborate. They want to understand the why behind their patterns using practical frameworks like CBT, while actively partnering with me to build a customized action plan so they can quiet the noise, lift their symptoms, and finally get their life back.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

At its core, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is built on a simple, powerful premise: what we think and how we act directly change how we feel. Instead of spending years unpacking the distant past, CBT focuses on the present. It looks at how your immediate thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are locked in a continuous loop. When you get stuck in a negative cycle, like the heavy loops of depression or the scattered noise of ADHD, CBT gives you a concrete framework to intercept that cycle and shift it. Ultimately, CBT doesn't change the stressful situations life throws at you. Instead, it equips you with an explicit, real-world toolkit so you can completely change how your brain reacts to them.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a future-focused, goal-oriented approach that changes the entire conversation of traditional therapy. Instead of spending months or years dissecting the history of your problems, analyzing their root causes, or talking about what isn’t working, SFBT focuses entirely on solutions, strengths, and what is working. It is built on a liberating premise: You are already the expert on your own life, and you already possess the inner resources and resilience needed to change it. My job isn't to fix you; it’s to help you identify those existing strengths and intentionally construct a pathway forward.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I've also began to implement ACT when CBT just isn't showing up for my clients, I'm always working on meeting you where you are at and striving to help you find your footing. While traditional CBT focuses on changing or challenging unhelpful thoughts, ACT s based on the idea that pain and difficult emotions are a natural part of being human. The real suffering happens when we get stuck in "experiential avoidance"—wasting massive amounts of mental energy trying to outrun, suppress, or fix our anxiety, ADHD frustrations, or depression. ACT teaches you how to change your relationship to your thoughts so they no longer control your actions.

Eclectic

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing, which is why I combine the strengths of CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into an eclectic, highly adaptive mix tailored entirely to your unique needs. When you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, we pull from CBT to break down the immediate loops connecting your thoughts and behaviors, giving you concrete strategies to intercept negative cycles. If you are feeling paralyzed by where to start, we inject SFBT to bypass the noise, zero in on your natural strengths, and map out immediate, practical next steps. And for those heavy parts of life that cannot be easily fixed or thought away, we lean into ACT to help you step back from the mental tug-of-war, accept the weather of your emotions, and keep moving toward what truly matters to you. By blending these tools, our sessions remain highly collaborative, deeply supportive, and explicitly focused on whatever combination of acceptance and action will best help you get your life back.
