I help people manage stress, burnout, depression, anxiety, and often some lingering effects of trauma. I work with adults who want to feel calmer, more balanced, and more connected to themselves and their core values in daily life. My approach combines practical stress-management tools with deeper self-awareness to support lasting change. I take a collaborative compassionate approach and am mindful of the need for you to have a safe space to focus on healing, resilience, and a renewed sense of energy and purpose.
Our first session will focus on collaboratively working together to understand your history, what challenges brought you to counseling and establishing therapy goals and discuss options and stategies to get you there! I will guide you with compassionate yet goal focused treatment.
My hope is that you feel seen, understood and appreciate my warm approach to practical evidenced based strategies to accomplish your goals in our time together.
I help with people who are usually seeking therapy usually for the first time who are high achievers that are experiencing work and home stress, life transitions, current or past traumas , sometimes to the point of burnout. I help people who feel this way find balance in their lives. I have a structured approach to therapy and give in between session practices to help you reach your goals.
I can help with overwhelm and even burnout. ACT has helped dozens with anxiety. We will use focus on how to handle stress, anxiety, or life transitions by accepting emotions, detaching from unhelpful thoughts and taking actions that align with your core values. There are many metaphors and strategies I will use to help you understand how to navigate challenges without being controlled by all the mental noise. This approach is motivating and encouraging.
I help you challenge reoccurring thoughts . I use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life. I use CBT with structured exercises to develop practical skills for life's array of challenges.
I can help you process with anxiety, performance anxiety, depression caused by distressing memories. We will work together to build resilience and change unwanted behavioral patterns like unresolved emotional distress and negative beliefs that have resulted from trauma.
I can help people who's mind is sweeping into the past or future and feeling on autopilot. I will help you with self compassion and living in the present moment with purposeful non judgmental attention.
