New to Grow
I am a compassionate, client-centered therapist who provides a supportive and nonjudgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I work collaboratively with clients to build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach integrates evidence-based methods while remaining flexible to each person’s unique needs, helping clients feel more grounded, empowered, and connected in their daily lives.
The first session will be a chance for us to connect and begin understanding your story. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping for, and answer any questions you may have about therapy. There’s no pressure—just a supportive space to start.
What makes me unique is my ability to blend evidence-based approaches like CBT with a deeper, emotion-focused and trauma-informed perspective. I don’t just focus on changing thoughts or behaviors—I help clients understand the underlying emotions and experiences driving them. This creates a more meaningful and lasting shift, not just short-term relief.
My ideal client is someone who is ready—whether fully or just beginning—to look inward and make meaningful changes in their life. They may feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or emotionally drained, and are seeking a supportive space to better understand themselves without fear of judgment. They don’t need to have all the answers; in fact, many come in feeling unsure, but open to exploring what’s beneath the surface. I work well with individuals who are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, past trauma, or patterns that no longer feel helpful. They may notice recurring thoughts, emotional reactions, or behaviors that feel difficult to change on their own. My ideal client is willing to be curious about these patterns and open to understanding how their past experiences, beliefs, and emotions influence their present. They are open to both insight and practical strategies—wanting to not only understand themselves more deeply, but also learn tools they can use in everyday life. This might include developing healthier thinking patterns, improving emotional regulation, strengthening communication, or building more secure and fulfilling relationships. My ideal client values a collaborative therapeutic relationship. They are willing to engage in the process, even when it feels uncomfortable, and understand that growth takes time. Together, we create a space that is warm, honest, and supportive, where they can feel safe to explore, process, and grow. Ultimately, my ideal client is someone who wants more for themselves—more clarity, more peace, and a stronger sense of connection to who they are and how they want to live.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Clients can expect a collaborative and supportive environment where we actively work together to: • Build insight into patterns • Develop healthier thinking habits • Improve emotional regulation • Create lasting behavioral change
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) into my work, particularly with individuals and couples navigating relationship distress, attachment wounds, and emotional disconnection. My experience with EFT focuses on helping clients access, understand, and express their deeper emotions in a safe and supportive environment.
Positive Psychology
I integrate principles of Positive Psychology into my therapy work to help clients not only reduce distress, but also build a more meaningful, fulfilling life. My experience with this approach focuses on identifying and strengthening each client’s existing resources, resilience, and personal values. Rather than focusing solely on what’s “wrong,” I help clients recognize what’s already working and how to expand those strengths.
