In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Beginning therapy means different things to different people, but it is often an action of courage, hope, self-care, and self-determination. You might or might not have been to a therapist before. If this is your first experience with therapy, you might feel a bit nervous or apprehensive. That’s normal! Therapy is a process that allows you the freedom and privacy to discuss issues that are often painful or difficult to discuss with family and/or friends. I believe that in the process of our work together, you can begin to feel more at home within yourself and within your relationships.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Providing a safe space to share in a non-judgmental forum and provide validation, normalization and tools to empower oneself in their healing journey

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, & compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, solution-based, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our dialog & treatment plan to meet your unique and specific need.

I wanted to know more constructed ways of treating and pointing my problems out. Have a take-home massage at the end of the call.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-focused therapy, also called solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), is a type of therapy that places far more importance on discussing solutions than problems (Berg, n.d.). Of course, you must discuss the problem to find a solution, but beyond understanding what the problem is and deciding how to address it, solution-focused therapy will not dwell on every detail of the problem you are experiencing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a psychotherapeutic approach designed to improve mental health by modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts. It is effective for treating a range of conditions, including:

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a form of psychotherapy that identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each person’s mental system. According to the IFS model, each individual has a “system” of internal parts or sub-personalities that have different emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. The goal of IFS is to help clients access “Self” so that they can heal wounded parts and bring their minds into balance
