Teen years can feel overwhelming — for both teens and parents — and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m a warm, relatable, and supportive therapist who helps adolescents and teens work through anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, grief, and everyday stress in a space where they can truly feel safe, heard, and understood. I combine genuine connection with practical coping tools to help teens build confidence, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and feel more in control of their lives while also supporting parents every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and making sure you feel as comfortable as possible—no pressure, no judgment, just a supportive space to show up as you are. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you (or your teen) to therapy, what’s been feeling hard lately, and what you’d like to be different. I also take time to learn about your strengths, background, and what support has or hasn’t worked in the past. Together, we’ll start shaping goals and begin identifying simple, realistic steps forward. You don’t need to have everything figured out—this is just the starting point of the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In sessions, I focus on meeting teens exactly where they are—whether that’s in the middle of overwhelm or starting to build coping skills—and tailoring treatment to their needs in the moment. My goal is to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered while building practical tools that create real change outside of therapy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work especially well with adolescents and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, trauma, grief, and school or family stress. I create a warm, upbeat, and judgment-free space where teens feel safe being themselves and talking openly about difficult emotions without fear of shame or criticism. My approach balances genuine connection with practical coping skills, emotional regulation tools, and support that helps teens feel more confident, understood, and emotionally safe while also partnering with parents throughout the healing process.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and build practical coping skills that actually work in everyday life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented — I balance validation with honest feedback and actionable strategies so clients feel supported while making real progress. I often integrate mindfulness, emotion regulation, and communication skills in a way that feels approachable, personalized, and empowering.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) to help clients process difficult experiences, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and rebuild a sense of safety and confidence. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and paced to each client’s comfort level — combining practical coping skills with trauma processing in a way that feels supportive, empowering, and grounded in real-life healing.

Grief Therapy

I use grief therapy to support clients through loss, life transitions, and complicated emotions that can come with grieving. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and tailored to each person’s unique experience — creating a safe space to process emotions, build coping strategies, and move toward healing while honoring the connection to what was lost.
