Hello, I specialize in treating individuals ages 6-17 (I see some young adults as well between ages 18-21) that may be experiencing challenging life circumstances through the diagnosis and treatment of various psychiatric diagnoses including ADHD, Autism, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, and job/school stress. I always look to establish a comfortable and compassionate relationship with my patients. I am confident that I can provide empathy and support, and offer various treatment approaches to overcome one's challenges.
During our first encounter, we will discuss your child/adolescents personal, family, and medical history as well as review documents from other providers or sources if available. We will then decide upon a treatment plan that is individualized, comprehensive, and evidence based. I aim to help your child to achieve their personal goals through positive coping techniques and medication management if desired. I may ask you to complete assessment tools like “GAD7, PHQ9 etc. and may occasionally refer you to other caregivers, including therapists, medical specialists, and others as needed for your positive outcomes. Please notes that an in-person visit is REQUIRED for an initial evaluation for ADHD and every 23 months after. Also, I am unable to prescribe controlled substances for the treatment of anxiety disorders (ex. Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin).
I am 100% dedicated to the delivery of quality care to my patients. I believe in working closely with clients in helping them to achieve an optimal level of health and wellness. I have a passion for working with young people and their families as growing up and parenting can present many twists and turns.
I typically work with youth, ages 6-17 years of age.
My goal during patient encounters is to build self-esteem and confidence through active listening, emotional support, and validation. We will work through present and immediate concerns, including school concerns, relationship issues, family conflicts, or other stressful problems one may be facing.
